Fred Milanowski is the Director of ShotSpotter Solutions for SoundThinking. He joined the company in September of 2023. Prior to his role at SoundThinking, Fred was the Special Agent in Charge of the ATF Houston Field Division. The Houston Field Division is the largest ATF Field Division, focusing on violent firearm crimes, criminal misuse of explosives, and arson. Fred was the ATF on-scene commander for several critical incidents including Southerland Springs Baptist Church shootings, the Santa Fe High School shootings, and the Austin serial bombing investigation. He holds master’s degrees from the U.S. Marine Corps University and Michigan State University.
