According to FOX31 Denver, the Pueblo Police Department has seen major benefits since deploying ShotSpotter gunshot detection technology in February 2024. In just three months, ShotSpotter has alerted police to over 470 gunfire incidents, leading to the seizure of 20 firearms and 15 arrests. Incredibly, the system enabled officers to render life-saving aid to 9 individuals in cases where no 911 calls were made about the gunshots.
