According to Chicago Police, ShotSpotter sparked at least 4 arrests and 5 gun seizures in just the first weekend. Cases highlighted include the recovery of various firearms like an AR-15 rifle, a shotgun, and handguns from individuals who allegedly discharged weapons on city streets.
