“What we’re seeing is in the realm of 90-plus percent of the gunfire that’s detected is never called in by anyone…. [ShotSpotter] is able to narrow it down to a house. It is able to narrow it down to the backyard of a house. It can narrow it down to a specific part of an apartment complex. It’s a very accurate system,” said Houston Police Department Commander Milton Martin.
