Kerry Neumann

Kerry Neumann is a Customer Success Director at SoundThinking, where he helps public safety agencies realize measurable value from the ShotSpotter platform. He supports agencies through onboarding, operational best-practice training, performance reviews, strategic planning, and ongoing executive partnership throughout the life of the program. Kerry brings 29 years of law enforcement experience. He retired from the Omaha Police Department at the rank of Deputy Chief and joined ShotSpotter in May 2020. Omaha began using ShotSpotter in 2011, when Kerry was a patrol captain serving the coverage area. After transferring to Criminal Investigations, he helped institutionalize the use of ShotSpotter data across Homicide, Gun Assault, Crime Analysis, and Crime Scene Investigations. He is a graduate of FBI National Academy Session 261 and completed the Major Cities Chiefs Association Police Executive Leadership Institute in 2019. Kerry holds a master's degree in Crime Management and Justice Administration.
