Create a chart, a map or ready-to-use summary for your next report, briefing or operational discussion. No filters, no exports, no spreadsheet examples.
- “What changed in gunfire activity this month compared with last month?” and quickly identify emerging gunfire hotspots, repeat locations, and areas that may need closer attention.
- “What should supervisors know before planning weekend deployment?” and surface the locations, days, times, and repeat gunfire patterns most relevant to operational decisions
- “Create a command staff briefing on recent gunfire trends” and turn complex ShotSpotter data into a clear, ready-to-use narrative for meetings, reports, an community or operational updates.
- “Show me the last 5 days of gunfire,”
- “Create a chart of gunfire by time of day and day of the week,”

Field Agent can help summarize recent gunfire activity, show incidents on a map, identify clusters or hotspots, break activity down by beat or time period, compare activity near points of interest, generate charts, create reports, prepare CSV or geospatial exports, play incident audio, and generate Investigative Lead Summary (ILS) reports for gunfire incidents.

ShotSpotter data – e.g., SafetySmart-accessible gunfire data, geospatial data such as boundaries and OpenStreetMap points of interest.
For ResourceRouter customers – RMS crime data.
For PlateRanger customers – license plate reads associated with gunfire incidents.
It can also use files uploaded into a specific conversation, such as CSV, Shapefile, KML, GeoJSON, and JSON data.
Field Agent only gives access to data for which the user has authorized access, such as that agency’s own ShotSpotter, crime data (for ResourceRouter users), and license plate read data (for PlateRanger users). Field Agent may also use non-agency geospatial reference data, such as OpenStreetMap points of interest and boundaries.
Yes. Users can ask Field Agent where it pulled data from or what source it used for an answer. This is especially useful when an answer combines incident data, crime data, uploaded files, or geospatial reference data.
CrimeTracer and explanded PlateRanger vehicle data, along with other third-party data sources, are expected by the end of 2026.
