Digidesign®
is offering the rack-mountable Pro Tools® 7-slot Expansion
Chassis to answer customer demand for cost-effective PCI
expansion. At about 3/4 the cost of a 13-slot chassis, you
can add up to seven supported Digidesign PCI cards for additional
mixing, processing and sampling power.
The
modular, power-on-demand nature of Pro Tools means you
can add Digidesign cards to your Pro Tools system any
time you need the additional mixing or processing power.
This carries over to sampling, where you can add multiple
SampleCell II Plus cards to increase your system's
sample RAM and voice count. Multiple Digidesign cards
are supported, so you can combine MIX Core, MIX Farm,
DSP Farm, MIX I/O, d24, SampleCell II and SampleCell
II Plus cards all in the same chassis.
