Using
a patented PCI-to-PCI Expansion System, this rack-mountable
Pro Tools® 13-Slot Expansion Chassis allows you to add
up to 10 supported Digidesign® PCI cards for additional
mixing, processing and sampling power. The modular, power-on-demand
nature of Pro Tools means you can add multiple MIX Farm,
MIX I/O and SampleCell II Plus cards to your system.
In addition, the 13-slot Pro Tools Expansion Chassis supports
AVoption and AVoption|XL video subsystems for video integration.
The
13-Slot Expansion Chassis supports mixed card configurations.
For example, a chassis can contain both Pro Tools|24 MIX
cards (MIX Core and MIX Farm) as well as Pro Tools|24
cards (DSP and d24), in addition to SampleCell II Plus
and AVoption cards, providing the ultimate in configuration
flexibility.
With
AVoption or AVoption|XL hardware, an AVoption Chassis Fan
Kit must be added to the Expansion Chassis.
